January arrivals fit for a queen

Posted by Tara Kirkland on

Sometimes the grey of January can get us down, have us feeling like we're in a funk, or maybe we're handling some post-holiday blues (or post holiday bills!).  In any case, just because the skies are grey doesn't mean we have to be grey along with it.  Bo and I have been unpacking some of the most lovely new items over the past few days, and I think it's about time we call some attention to the items I am most excited about.  I've recently read that the flu outbreak is pretty bad this year too, so if you're sitting on the couch, under the covers, battling the flu going around, snuggle in, get well soon, and shop online!

Green is Good

Brasilia Earrings : Emerald is believed to enhance memory and mental clarity, and is often associated with blissful love (which would explain my head over heels feelings about these earrings).  These hammered bronze earrings (14k gold earwire) are the perfect companion to anyone looking for an earring that will stand out, garner compliments, or add that perfect pop of colour to a grey day.

Full Circle Earrings: These bronze earrings are adorned with chrysoprase- which is said to bring good fortune and prosperity.  Light weight and handmade by twin sisters in Tennessee, these little show stoppers are on the top of my list for lovely!

Circle Cuff : SEE ABOVE!  Basically this cuff is one of the greatest items in the store, and I can't get enough of it.  It travels flat and will add the special little touch your wrist needs.

You Better Start Wearing Purple

(insert gypsy music here

If you clicked the link, you heard the song- so take their advice and start wearing purple! Custard has no shortage of colour of royalty, and after all, we're all pretty special!

Circle Cuff: Amethyst promotes calm, balance and peace.  It is often known as the sobriety stone, giving the wearing clearness of mind.  Who doesn't want that?  Aside from all of those attributes, this cuff is gorgeous.  The purple stone is sure to bring a smile to your face, and of course, brighten up those gloomy days.

Cape Earrings: (see above for amethyst info) These earrings are on my most lovey list! As soon as they arrived in the store I was smitten.  How are you doing on your New Year's resolution?  We're almost done with January, and if you need a reward for sticking to your resolution, make it these earrings!

Sweet as Honey

Hestia Earrings: Whiskey Quartz earrings that shine on the gloomiest of days!  The word whiskey is an anglicized word for the Gaelic uisce, meaning “water.” In classical Irish Gaelic, the beloved distilled liquor is called uisce beatha or “water of life' and we believe these earrings will add life to any outfit!

The whole shebang! Earrings, Bunny Ring, and Disk Ring - What's not to love about this combo?  Sweet as honey!  The rabbit ring has a simple "moon" out of white turquoise and is nestled in a teardrop.  The earrings and ring are so simple and so elegant that I can't image an evening or day look they won't compliment.

Happy Shopping everyone- and come visit in person or online soon!
