I have a deep appreciation for this company's backstory and the final product is so awesome. Think about how this piece had a former life over looking cars, or people, or fields of cows... and then, instead of being discarded in a dump somewhere, it's found new life in a bag, or pouch, or fannypack!

I have always been the biggest fan of the Downtown Design District and I was hoping to stay close enough to have people who went looking at Taylor Street find me somewhere near! I got a huge break when a neighbor of mine moved to Liberty Street and 414 Whitaker Street was available! I remember our friends Amanda and Matt coming over and helping Bo and myself roll rolling racks, haul tables and dress forms across busy Whitaker and Taylor traffic! It was a sight!

"I have always really enjoyed small business and retail. I love helping people find just the right thing. Even after all these years, I still love the Holiday season! It truly is so much fun for me to ask questions about who people are shopping for, find out a little about the person and then help pick out gifts. After spending many years buying, building displays, personal shopping, and building relationships with vendors, I felt like the time was right to strike out on my own. Bo and I packed up and moved to Savannah, GA and Custard was born!"
