Let's do this! 2017 we are ready for you!

It's time for that same old new years journal entry... or is it?  I always feel like the New Year is a time for reflection and a time for trying new things or focusing in on the forgotten from last year, but honestly, I feel like my new year starts on my birthday (which isn't until August- so, no need to bore everyone with my own reflections).  Just in case you're looking for a more traditional new years post- here's one that I enjoyed reading: READ ME .

In the mean time- let's talk about other new years subjects... like the Chinese New Year! This year is the year of the rooster, so Gamecock fans rejoice!  My choice for kicking off Chinese New Year in style is this adorable hoodie!

And if you're a January baby- or looking for a gift for a January birthday- your stone is garnet! Garnet is a stone of regeneration and has energizing properties.  Some say it can boost the energy of an entire system and revitalize it. It is also said to be stabilizing stone that can bring order to chaos whether internal or external.  So, if you're in the market for a sweet piece of garnet- check out this beautiful cuff  and wear or give with pride.

Here are some other fun ideas for the colour garnet as well: SALE DRESS, BERRY BRAID DRESS, and the BERRY BOMB SCARF.

And now- on to the more traditional new years types of things... like resolutions!  We have the same resolution every year... and it's a good one!  Custard is always on the hunt to bring you more American made goods, artist made items, local and regional goodness and unique pieces that you will never tire of wearing.  Our newest line to hit the shelves (both online and in store) is based out of Asheville, NC (my hometown) and will be arriving this month!  We can't wait!  Here's a little preview of some of the newest cotton totes and zipper pouches that will be in stock soon.  Stay tuned to our social media for their arrival!

Thanks for reading and thanks for shopping local!

 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
